Hi, I’m Lonnie! I’m an audiophile and Baydestrian by way of Phoenix,Arizona.

 

At the forefront of what I do- I’m a DJ: but I wouldn’t be as playful as I am on the decks if I wasn’t consistently learning the technical minutiae through my work event and radio production. I love that audio is a language of many dialects that are easy to translate across mediums/applications.

In my downtime, I make installation art. While the overarching goal of sharing my work is to spark conversation and introspection, my creative process is rooted in self-indulgence. In this medium, I find joy in working in solitude; there, I can shed need to prove myself, and embrace the stickiness of making.

 

Currently, my practice is centered around building a deeper trust in my intuition through exploring more visceral ways to express myself. Time, experience, and relaxation reveal how my creative work and lifestyle are interdependent. With being a fluidity being a prevalent theme I’m enjoying asking questions, toiling and toddling more than seeking answers.
